Oliver McDermoid-Perring

Oliver graduated from Bournemouth University with a Master’s in Directing for Film and Television in 2021 and is now an award-winning Director with a portfolio of work that ranges from commercials to short films. Oliver also works in the Film industry in the locations department as a location Marshall and location assistant and has worked on many high-profile jobs such as ‘Wicked’ ‘Renegade Nell’ and ‘The Day of the Jackal Season 1’

Oliver’s mission is to teach the UK film academy students what was not available to him at a young age to teach them important lessons so they can go to university and college with skills and experience that allow them to hit the ground running.
