Lights, camera, action! Our Saturday Film Club gives young people the chance to step into the world of filmmaking and acting, with a different film genre explored each term.

Classes are split into age groups:

• 6–7 years

• 8–12 years

• 13–17 years

Students get hands-on experience on location and in our in-house studio, learning everything from special effects, film make-up, movie tricks and stunts to acting for camera and filmmaking. Our diverse and inclusive team of experienced industry professionals bring real knowledge and experience to every session, helping students build confidence and discover their creativity.

The year builds towards our spectacular Annual Red Carpet Event, where students can celebrate their work and experience their very own movie moment! 

Saturday Sessions:

• Portsmouth / Hayling Island: 10:00am–12:30pm

• Southampton / Locks Heath: 1:30pm–4:00pm

• Small Group Sessions

We also offer smaller weekend and evening sessions at Blossom Cave Studios for children and young people who may find larger groups overwhelming. These relaxed sessions are led by experienced drama therapists, creating a supportive and creative environment where everyone can enjoy acting and filmmaking at their own pace.
